Format, limits & common questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. PrintDiff has no file upload endpoint. File contents are read by browser APIs and stay on your device.
What is the current file size limit?
The preview limits each file to 50 MB to keep comparisons responsive on ordinary phones and laptops.
What if a file is damaged?
PrintDiff checks the actual file structure, not only its extension, and explains when a file cannot be parsed.
